MVHS GUIDANCE MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of MVHS Guidance Program is to enable all students, regardless of individual differences, to acquire the educational, occupational and social skills necessary to function in a changing society with lifelong success.
 
 
 
MERRIMACK VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GUIDANCE SERVICES

The Guidance Department has a full array of services that are designed to assist MVHS students.  If you have any questions about high school courses, the college selection process, personal concerns or general questions, your guidance counselor can help you or point you towards someone who can.  To contact your child's counselor, click on their picture!

Our counselors work closely with each other and with members of our Special Education department, Wellness Center, the SAP (Student Assistant Program) counselor, the ESL instructor, the nurses’ office and all other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to student services.

COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID NIGHT

DATE: TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2011

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: This presentation helps families navigate through the college financial aid process. Financial aid experts discuss ways to apply for aid, what type of aid is available, and how to complete the financial aid and scholarship applications successfully. Funding options, scholarship searches and the importance of deadlines are discussed.
